Christine got her start as a photo assistant on fashion shoots at Washington Life Magazine, as a photographer at the Grinnell Herald-Register, and as a photo editing intern for WashingtonPost.com. In 2012, she earned an Emerging Artist grant from the Puffin Foundation to fund her accordion photo book, Mixteco/RVA, and print a large-scale photo for display in Sacred Heart Center. In 2013, Christine curated the show Guadalajara in 35mm for VACLAA, as well as multiple galleries for Kulfoto.com and Matterdome.com. In 2014, she co-authored Images of America: Richmond Cemeteries, a pictorial history book. As a staff member at the Arlington Catholic Herald from 2014-2015, Christine took photos for dozens of print and web stories. Most recently, her photo collages were selected by Brooklyn Museum curator Rujeko Hockley for ArtBridge's Brownsville Matters, a permanent public art installation in New York City.
