Lehman College Art Gallery
Through contracts secured by Lehman College Art Gallery, I serve as an artist-in-residence at New York City Public Schools. I create murals in collaboration with students. Then I work with custodial staff to install the murals for permanent display. I also led a six-week long watercolor workshop for middle school students. For every contract, I am responsible for all project planning, design, instruction, and documentation.
This is a mural installed at IS 211, a middle school in Brooklyn's Canarsie neighborhood:
These two murals are installed at IS 180, a middle school in the Bronx's Co-Op City:
Below is a sketch I created for a 6-week workshop at IS 240 in Brooklyn's Midwood neighborhood; photos of finished work is available upon request.
